The Sport Alliance of Ontario (SAO) is a not-for-profit provincial sport management agency. It is our goal to support personal and community development through sport opportunities - from the Playground to the Podium.
Since 1968, the SAO, and its predecessor the Ontario Sports and Recreation Centre (OSRC Inc.), has built a track record of service and commitment to amateur sport and recreation in Ontario. The SAO provides services assisting in the development and delivery of competitive and recreational sport in Ontario.
Sport and recreation are key components of the daily lives of almost 2.5 million Ontarians. The sport and recreation community is served by more than 100 provincial sport organizations, committed individuals in the educational sport sector, countless municipal parks and recreation staff and volunteers and private sector fitness and facility providers, to help improve the daily lives of people in Ontario.
The Sport Alliance of Ontario offers a wide range of programs and services for the benefit of our members, clients and communities. We deliver these services with a vision to enhancing the sport experience in Ontario.
