John Cowan ChPC Intercollegiate Coach, Cross Country Ski Coach I have been involved with coaching for 25 years and do not plan to stop anytime soon! Not only am I a certified NCCP coach, but I am also a facilitator of the NCCP coaching workshops in the NCCP Multisport Modules, NCCP Fundamental Movement Skills and sport specific clinics. My interest in community sport development grew after attending workshops held at Sport Alliance Ontario when I subsequently founded three community sport clubs. Sport Alliance Ontario has brought together the largest concentration of provincial and national sport organization experts, making information and resources easily accessible for me as a coach.
I have coached teams to the Ontario Games, National tournaments and to international tournaments. Sport Alliance Ontario also offers an opportunity for coaches, athletes, officials and volunteers to be recognized through the Ontario Sport Awards.
